Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to support large hospital systems through advanced data analysis, financial analytics, and cost optimization initiatives. This role will analyze healthcare spend data, identify savings opportunities, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decisions around pricing, contracts, rebates, and administrative fees.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, healthcare experience, and the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations for business leaders and stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role requiring onsite support 3 days per week. Candidates must be located in one of the following markets:
• Irving, TX
• Chicago, IL
• Centennial/Denver, CO
Key Responsibilities
• Lead analytics projects by creating datasets, conducting ad-hoc analyses, and solving complex business questions
• Analyze hospital purchasing and product usage data to identify cost savings opportunities and optimization strategies
• Evaluate pricing, contracts, rebates, administrative fees, and market benchmarks to uncover financial insights
• Partner with Spend Managers and business leaders to communicate findings, recommendations, and cost reduction opportunities
• Interpret reporting results using healthcare market and product knowledge
• Gather business requirements and determine the best analytical approach for new requests
• Identify trends, performance metrics, and benchmarks to support strategic initiatives
• Create presentations, dashboards, charts, graphs, and reports to communicate findings
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of data analytics experience
• Healthcare experience required (hospital systems, healthcare analytics, supply chain, or related)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis)
• Experience working with large datasets and translating data into business insights
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
