• This is a 6 month contract position
We are seeking an experienced and analytical individual to join our HR team as a Senior HR Analyst. The ideal candidate will focus on building and maintaining dashboards, providing strategic workforce planning recommendations, defining HR metrics, managing reports, and fostering data literacy within the organization.
At CARFAX, we believe in the power of teamwork and value in-person interactions so that we can collaborate and thrive together. This position will require 3 days a week in our Centreville office subject to change with future business needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and Maintain Dashboards:
• Design, develop, and maintain actionable and visually appealing HR analytics dashboards.
• Utilize tools such as Tableau to provide real-time data insights.
• Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and meet the needs of various stakeholders.
• Provide Actionable Strategic Workforce Planning Recommendations:
• Analyze workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide strategic recommendations to HR leaders and senior management to support workforce planning and organizational development.
• Develop predictive models to forecast future HR needs, including talent acquisition, retention, and development.
• Define HR Metrics Based on Best Practices:
• Identify and define key HR metrics and performance indicators in line with industry best practices.
• Ensure metrics are aligned with organizational goals and provide meaningful insights.
• Continuously review and update metrics to reflect evolving business needs and HR trends.
• HR Reporting:
• Oversee the creation, distribution, and maintenance of HR analytics reports.
• Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and tailored to the audience’s needs.
• Develop automated reporting solutions to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
• Data Governance:
• Establish and maintain data governance policies to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.
• Maintain role-based permissions to control data access and maintain confidentiality.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with data governance standards.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Data Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in HR analytics or a similar role within HR.
• Proficiency with HR analytics tools and software (e.g., SQL, R, Python, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of HR processes, metrics, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
