Job Summary
The Senior HR Analytics Specialist supports HR reporting, analytics, and dashboarding across core people systems, with a primary focus on Workday. This role partners with HR and business stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable people insights that support data-driven decision-making. The Specialist contributes to recurring and ad hoc reporting, compliance reporting, and data quality efforts while maintaining strict confidentiality. This is a temporary/contract role with potential for future conversion based on business needs and performance.
Responsibilities
• Build, maintain, and enhance standard and custom Workday reports and dashboards using Report Writer and Advanced Reporting.
• Support recurring HR dashboards, metrics, and analytics across functions such as HRBP, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Learning & Development using tools like Qlik.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends, insights, and data quality issues; prepare summaries for stakeholders and leadership.
• Partner with HR teams to gather requirements, manage ad hoc reporting requests, and deliver effective reporting solutions.
• Support federal, state, and internal HR reporting requirements, audits, and compliance needs.
• Monitor data integrity across HR systems and contribute to documentation, job aids, and reporting best practices.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience with Workday HR reporting, dashboards, or analytics.
• Proven experience creating reports and visualizations for business users.
• Experience with HR systems and analytics tools such as Qlik, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Workday Reporting or Pro Certification (or progress toward certification) preferred.
• Prior experience supporting HR or people analytics functions; pharma or biotech experience a plus.
