About the Role
Thunderhawk Technology Partners is supporting a leading enterprise client in their search for a Senior HR Technology Business Analyst to lead and support mission‑critical HR platforms across North America. This is a high‑visibility, contract‑to‑hire opportunity for an experienced HR systems professional who can serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders while partnering closely with IT and delivery teams.
In this role, you will help envision, implement, enhance, and support HR technology solutions across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with a primary focus on SAP SuccessFactors and integrations across the HR application ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a strategic liaison between HR process owners, executive stakeholders, and technical teams
• Own demand management for HR IT and SaaS solutions across North America
• Lead requirements gathering, design, and solution workshops (planning through deployment)
• Partner on change management initiatives, ensuring business readiness and adoption
• Create functional and program specifications; support design, testing, deployment, and production support
• Evaluate the impact of new HR solutions and recommend process and system improvements
• Act as the primary point of contact for HR application issues, enhancements, and stakeholder communication
• Support SaaS platform evaluations and vendor/service contract discussions
• Manage integrations and ensure system compliance, documentation, and operational stability
• Provide ongoing end‑user support, root‑cause analysis, and issue resolution
• Keep senior leadership informed on progress, risks, and outcomes
Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of experience as an HR Technology / Business Analyst or similar role
• Expert‑level SAP SuccessFactors experience, including: Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding / Offboarding, Performance & Goals, Succession & Development, Learning Management, Compensation
• Strong experience with ADP HR Payroll
• Working knowledge of Oracle HRMS modules
• Advanced understanding of HR data, reporting, and analytics
• Experience across full SDLC and Agile / structured delivery models
• Proven ability to document process flows, requirements, and configuration designs
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder environments
• Strong communication skills and experience working with distributed / global teams
Nice to Have
• Experience with KPA platform
• Exposure to Microsoft, Azure, and ServiceNow tools
• Delivery management or coordination experience
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• Master’s in MIS or similar discipline preferred
