Our client,a global leader in enterprise technology and leader in data governance and compliance solutions, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior IBM AI/ML Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior IBM AI/ML Engineer , you will be an integral part of the Data Value Platform support team, working remotely within the US. What's the Job?
โข Own and enhance the watsonx.data intelligence layer, including data profiling, governance scoring, and asset management.
โข Design and develop regulation mapping engines to extend coverage for HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, FERPA, ITAR, and COPPA with structured JSON outputs.
โข Build and optimize governance scoring logic to produce consistent, defensible scores based on data attributes and privacy policies.
โข Engineer and validate LLM prompts against models like Llama or Mistral, ensuring reliable and accurate governance outputs.
โข Collaborate with IBM technical leads on model configuration, prompt parameters, and workflow design for agent-consumable outputs.
What's Needed?
โข 5+ years of hands-on AI/ML engineering experience with a strong Python background.
โข Production experience with IBM watsonx.data intelligence, including data profiling and asset management.
โข Experience building and deploying LLM-backed services with IBM watsonx.ai or similar platforms.
โข Proven prompt engineering skills with models like Llama, Mistral, or comparable open-weight LLMs.
โข Experience working within IBM Cloud environments, particularly watsonx platform.
