Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure. DEPLOYMENT You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions while ensuring the security and integrity of our systems. Your expertise in various networking protocols and security standards will be crucial in maintaining a robust and efficient cloud environment. Duties Design and implement cloud architecture to support business operations and enhance scalability. Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure using tools like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure. Ensure compliance with NIST standards, ISO 27000, PCI, and FedRAMP regulations. Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage incident response to maintain system security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services with existing IT infrastructure. Implement identity & access management solutions using technologies such as Cisco ISE and Active Directory. Perform security analysis, threat detection & response, and system hardening to protect sensitive data. Utilize automation tools like Terraform and Ansible for efficient deployment and management of resources. Maintain network security through the configuration of firewalls (Cisco ASA), VPNs, IDS/IPS systems, and SIEM solutions. Provide support for network installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting across LAN/WAN environments. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proven experience in cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Strong understanding of computer networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP), and network protocols (DNS, DHCP). Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux (Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows environments. Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation tasks. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles including encryption methods, vulnerability management, incident recovery, and disaster recovery planning. Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware) and container orchestration (Docker). Understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines for software deployment. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as New Relic or SolarWinds for performance analysis.
