Are you looking to play a role in the Data & Insight transformation journey of a successful and fast-growing omnichannel retailer? It is an exciting time at Dunelm, the UK’s biggest homewares brand, as we look to expand our talented Analytics and Data Science team to achieve our mission to put data and insight at the heart of decision making across the business.
With over 200 stores across the UK and Ireland, home delivery through our website, and a click & collect experience, it is vital that we understand how customers are shopping with us and optimise our estate, logistics, the in-store space, and the range within it to drive value across all platforms. This role will play a key part in this, partnering with the business team to optimise our supply chain and stores to provide a superior customer experience and maximise business value.
What you'll be doing
Support analysis to inform decisions on space, customer experience, store format, channels and logistics efficiencies
Drive data driven decision making on potential new store formats, supply chain solutions, and customer propositions
Explore the link between in-store and online, understanding customer behaviour and helping to optimise the cross-channel experience
Develop an understanding of the competitor landscape and its impact on our sales and performance
Partner with the Lead Analyst of Operations Analytics and business teams to ensure analysis work is well understood and used to drive value within the business

A willingness to stay close to reality, visiting Stores & DCs to deeply understand how insight translates into action.
Essential Skills

Proficient in Excel or similar data exploration tools

Knowledge of SQL is a plus
Knowledge of Python, R or another major programming language is a plus
