Senior Java Javaee Developer

Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer (Level III) with over 7 years of experience in developing and leading complex projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java/J2EE, Spring frameworks, micro services, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices. Experience working in a government environment, particularly in Health and Human Services programs, is highly desirable. Mandatory Qualifications Experience Level III – More than 7 years of experience working on complex projects, with at least 2 years in a leadership role as a Developer. More than 7 years of hands-on experience as a Java developer with expertise in Java/J2EE, object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, and SOLID principles. More than 7 years of experience with Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security) and ORM technologies such as Hibernate or JPA. Desirable Qualifications • More than 7 years of proven experience designing, building, and maintaining micro services architectures and RESTful APIs. • Over 7 years of experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and build tools such as Maven or Gradle. • More than 7 years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), along with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. • Over 7 years of experience with DevOps principles and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins). • At least 2 years of experience working in a federal or state government environment (Health and Human Services, Integrated Eligibility Systems such as PA, TA, SNAP, HEAP, Fair Hearings, Child Support, etc. preferred). • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). • More than 7 years of experience working with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and SQL, along with experience in NoSQL databases.
