Senior Kofax Developer

Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Kofax Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise document capture and content management solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kofax platforms, OCR/ICR technologies, workflow automation, enterprise system integrations, and strong .NET development capabilities. This role is responsible for end-to-end solution design, development, deployment, integration, and production support of Kofax-based document automation solutions in an enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Development • Design and develop custom Kofax workflows and capture solutions using Kofax Capture, KTM, KCIC, KCNS, and/or Kofax (Tungsten) TotalAgility. • Develop classification and extraction models for structured and unstructured documents. • Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation. • Implement validation logic and business rules for document processing. Document Capture & Automation • Automate ingestion, classification, extraction, validation, and routing workflows. • Implement OCR, ICR, barcode recognition, and image preprocessing techniques. • Leverage machine learning–based classification and extraction capabilities where applicable. • Improve capture accuracy and performance through tuning and optimization. Integration & Enterprise Systems • Integrate Kofax solutions with ECM/DMS platforms, databases, and enterprise applications. • Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services. • Work with platforms such as IBM Content Management, OpenText, and RightFax. • Ensure secure, scalable, high-performance integrations. Development & Customization • Develop custom components using C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core, WCF, WPF, WinForms, LINQ, and Entity Framework. • Utilize VBScript, JavaScript, SBL, and WinWrap Basic for Kofax customization. • Apply object-oriented design principles and enterprise development best practices. Installation, Configuration & Support • Install, configure, and maintain Kofax servers and client components. • Apply patches, upgrades, and service packs. • Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support. • Participate in system testing, UAT support, and deployment activities. Required Experience • 8+ years of experience in Document Management Systems (DMS), Records Management, and Enterprise Content Management (ECM). • Hands-on experience with: • Kofax Capture 11 • KTM 6 • KCIC • KCNS • Kofax (Tungsten) TotalAgility • Strong development experience in VB.NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core. • Experience with backend RDBMS databases. • Expertise in OCR/ICR, barcode technologies, and automated document extraction. • Experience with system installation, configuration, and server maintenance.
