Unlike many banking organizations where analytics sits within IT, this team reports directly into the business. As a result, analysts operate as strategic partners to business leaders, helping drive decisions across customer growth, profitability, pricing, segmentation, and overall business performance. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly visible and rapidly growing team that is currently undergoing significant transformation and investment. The environment is often described as a "startup within a bank"—ideal for someone who enjoys building processes, navigating ambiguity, and solving complex business problems rather than simply executing predefined requirements. Business Partnership. Work closely with Product, Finance, Strategy, and Operations teams. Facilitate conversations between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Help business partners understand trends, opportunities, and risks within their data. Drive data-informed decision making across the organization. We are looking for candidates based out of Chicago, IL and San Fransico, CA. The duration of this opportunity is 12 months for the contract, with the goal of permanent placement after the first year. This role is hybrid, 4 days onsite. Salaries differ based on state: Chicago office: 53/HR for the duration of the contract, and when converted to full-time, the expected salary is 110,000 a year + 15% bonus. San Fransico office: 60/HR for the duration of the contract. When converted to a full-time employee, the expected salary is 125,000 a year + 15% bonus. What You'll Be Doing Strategic Analytics & Insight Generation • Partner with senior business leaders to identify opportunities and solve complex business challenges. • Analyze customer behavior, banking products, profitability, pricing trends, and business performance. • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and recommendations. • Develop executive-ready presentations that influence strategic decisions. • Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders across U.S. Banking.
