Senior Lead Developer

Role Summary • We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer / Tech Lead (React & NodeJS) to provide technical leadership and customer-facing engagement for enterprise application development. • This role serves as the primary technical liaison between the customer and offshore development team, translating business needs into robust technical solutions while ensuring quality, scalability, and timely delivery. • The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically strong across frontend, backend, and cloud integrations, and capable of guiding distributed teams with clarity and confidence. Technical Leadership & Architecture Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Offshore Team Leadership Technical Responsibilities Backend • Design and guide development of RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript. • Support integrations with enterprise systems using ABAP and OData. • Promote containerized deployments using Docker. • Ensure consistent adoption of Test‑Driven Development (TDD). Frontend • Lead architecture and development using React and TypeScript. • Drive frontend best practices for performance, accessibility, and reusability. • Ensure frontend code quality through TDD and reviews. Integrations & Cloud • Define and oversee CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. • Lead deployment and operations on AWS: • ECS • OpenSearch Logs • CloudFront • Oversee API exposure and governance using Azure API Management (APIM). • Ensure observability, logging, and operational readiness. Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills • Frontend: React, TypeScript, TDD • Backend: Node.js, RESTful APIs, TypeScript, ABAP, OData, Docker • Cloud & DevOps: AWS (ECS, OpenSearch, CloudFront), CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure APIM Experience • 12+ years of software development experience. • 3+ years in a Lead Developer / Tech Lead role. • Strong experience in customer-facing and distributed team environments.
