Senior Lead Developer

Position: Lead Developer (.NET + Angular) Location: Phpenix, AZ (Hybrid) Duration: 12 Months (Contract To Hire) Description: We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer to lead a small Agile development team supporting and modernizing enterprise-level judicial/court technology systems. This role combines hands-on full-stack development, technical leadership, and team management responsibilities. Key Responsibilities • Lead and mentor developers in an Agile environment • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications • Build and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, and SQL Server • Modernize legacy applications (AngularJS to Angular, .NET Framework to .NET Core) • Develop REST APIs, microservices, SSRS reports, and Power BI dashboards • Support Docker-based deployments and CI/CD processes • Conduct code reviews, sprint planning, performance evaluations, and one-on-one meetings • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application/database performance Required Skills • 5+ years of software development experience with at least 1 year in a lead/supervisory role • Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, and SQL Server • Experience with Docker, microservices, REST APIs, and Agile development • Knowledge of Entity Framework, Dapper, Git/TFVC, and SQL performance tuning • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience with SSRS and Power BI • Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications • Knowledge of SignalR, IBM MQ, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines • Government, court, or public-sector application experience is a plus • Experience using AI-assisted development tools Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
