Role description
We are looking for a mid to senior-level BI / Tableau Administrator to support the clientβs business-critical reporting and analytics platforms. This onsite role will support Tableau Cloud administration, Azure SQL Database reporting environments, Salesforce data/reporting support, Azure Data Factory pipelines, and MuleSoft Runtime Fabric integrations that impact reporting services. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and comfortable supporting Dev, Test, and Production environments while working with technical teams, report developers, analysts, business users, and leadership.
This role is onsite in Hartford, CT and local candidates will be strongly favored due to the onsite work requirement and in-person interview process.
Strict Requirement: US Citizen or Greencard holder requirement per the client and W2 only. H1b only accepted with I-140 active.
Requirements:
β’ 5+ years of professional BI, Tableau administration, reporting platform, or analytics support experience.
β’ Hands-on experience administering Tableau Cloud sites, projects, users, groups, permissions, and security.
β’ Experience supporting Tableau environments across Dev, Test, and Production.
β’ Experience monitoring Tableau platform health, extract refreshes, subscriptions, scheduled jobs, and performance issues.
β’ Strong SQL experience with Azure SQL Database or similar relational databases.
β’ Experience troubleshooting reporting data issues, query performance, connectivity, and refresh failures.
β’ Experience with Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, user access, roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
β’ Experience supporting enterprise dashboards, reports, analytics platforms, and business users.
β’ Experience deploying and promoting reports between environments.
β’ Experience supporting Azure Data Factory pipelines is preferred.
β’ Experience with MuleSoft Runtime Fabric or MuleSoft integrations is preferred.
β’ Experience working with Salesforce data and reporting environments is preferred.
β’ Microsoft Azure experience is preferred.
β’ Strong documentation experience across SDLC phases.
β’ Ability to work with architects and management on design decisions, estimates, best practices, and resource planning.
β’ Strong communication, troubleshooting, abstract thinking, and problem-solving skills.
β’ Ability to mentor and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
Responsibilities:

β’ Monitor platform health, scheduled jobs, subscriptions, extract refreshes, and reporting availability.
β’ Troubleshoot Tableau performance, connectivity, access, and reporting issues.
β’ Support Tableau report developers, analysts, and business users.
β’ Deploy and promote reports across Dev, Test, and Production environments.
β’ Support and troubleshoot Azure SQL Database environments used for enterprise reporting.
β’ Investigate data issues and perform data validation activities.
β’ Monitor database connectivity, query performance, and data refresh processes.
β’ Assist with SQL/SOQL troubleshooting and performance optimization.
β’ Monitor and support Azure Data Factory pipelines loading Salesforce and other source-system data into Azure SQL Database.
β’ Troubleshoot data load failures, refresh issues, and data quality concerns.
β’ Identify root causes for integration, reporting, and platform incidents.
β’ Collaborate with development, Salesforce, integration, and infrastructure teams during incident resolution and deployments.
β’ Support MuleSoft Runtime Fabric environments and integrations impacting reporting platforms.
