β’ Position Summary
We are seeking a contractor to support global supply planning activities across external manufacturing partners (CMOs) and internal manufacturing site. This role will focus on short-term plan execution, inventory management, and data management, with potential to convert to a full-time employee (FTE) based on performance and business needs. Estimated duration is 6-7 months.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Execute SAP transactions including PO creation, subcontract orders, and inventory movements.
β’ Lead monthly inventory reconciliation across CMOs and 3PLs, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with finance.
β’ Design and document supply planning processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
β’ Track and report CMO performance metrics (e.g., OTIF, cycle time, schedule adherence).
β’ Support forecast alignment and PO coverage for assigned SKUs.
β’ Collaborate with Finance Planning on inventory valuation and cost tracking.
β’ Participate in launch readiness and supply execution for new products.
Core Competencies and Qualifications:
β’ Commercial Supply Planning Expertise: Proven ability to develop and execute demand/supply planning strategies, optimize inventory levels, and lead the S&OP process to drive business alignment.
β’ Pharmaceutical Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of global pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (e.g., cGMP, GDP) and ability to ensure compliance in supply chain operations.
β’ Deviation & CAPA Management: Experience in investigating deviations, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensuring continuous compliance in a regulated environment.
β’ SAP & Advanced Planning Systems: Deep expertise in SAP ERP, IBP, and advanced planning tool system design, implementation, and optimization to enhance operational efficiency.
β’ Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
β’ Cross-functional Collaboration & Leadership: Ability to engage and align stakeholders across Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to drive supply chain excellence.
β’ Adaptability & Change Management: Demonstrated success in leading change initiatives, improving processes, and navigating dynamic business environments.
β’ Effective Communication & Influence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey supply chain strategies, present recommendations, and influence senior leadership.

Technical Skills:
β’ Master-level expertise in Excel and PowerPoint, with advanced skills in data modeling, automation, and visualization;
β’ Proficiency in other Microsoft Office application, strong knowledge of ERP Systems and Advanced Planning Tool, Experience with Power BI, ThinkCell, Smartsheet and data visualization tools.
Education/Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
β’ 5+ years of experience in supply planning, preferably in pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
β’ Familiarity with external manufacturing (CMO) operations and regulatory environment.
β’ Experience with SAP S4/Hana and planning tools.
β’ Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
