Marketing Analytics Manager, Performance Marketing
Location: Hybrid (80% Remote, 1 day onsite – San Francisco, CA 94107)
Schedule: Monday onsite, remaining days remote (PST hours)
Duration: Contract
Pay Rate: $70/hr
About the Role
This role sits at the intersection of marketing, data, and strategy, focused on driving growth, ROI, and performance optimization across acquisition, retention, and brand initiatives.
You will leverage user-level data, analytics, and predictive modeling to influence marketing strategy, improve effectiveness, and guide high-impact business decisions. This position partners closely with Marketing, Finance, Strategy, Operations, and AdTech teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze user-level data to uncover behavioral insights and evaluate marketing performance
• Partner with performance marketing teams on planning, prioritization, and execution
• Define and track KPIs and success metrics for campaigns and experiments
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor performance trends
• Design and analyze A/B tests and multivariate experiments to measure marketing impact
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership
• Identify opportunities to improve ROI, channel effectiveness, and user growth
• Leverage tools like Salesforce and Tableau to support scalable analytics
Core Focus Areas
• Performance Optimization & Strategy: Use data insights to drive ROI-focused marketing decisions
• Measurement & Experimentation: Establish frameworks for testing and performance tracking
• Cross-Functional Reporting: Deliver insights to stakeholders across Marketing and Sales
Required Qualifications
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
• Strong expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau or equivalent)
• Proven ability to design and analyze A/B testing or multivariate experiments
• Experience working with large datasets and marketing analytics
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with predictive modeling and forecasting
• Ability to influence strategy beyond reporting (thought partner to leadership)
• Understanding of full-funnel marketing (acquisition, retention, brand)
• Experience supporting both online and offline marketing channels
Work Environment & Expectations
• High visibility role with frequent interaction with senior stakeholders
• Must be comfortable navigating fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Ability to manage fluctuating workloads (peaks and valleys)
• Exposure to both FTE and contractor operating models
