Senior ML Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with proven experience leading initiatives in Generative AI to join our high-impact, innovation-driven team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and technical leader who thrives on solving complex problems with creative, AI-powered solutions. You will own the development and delivery of end-to-end machine learning systems, from ideation to production, while collaborating closely with business stakeholders to drive measurable value. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and deployment of generative AI solutions, including large language models (LLMs), foundation models, and other advanced architectures. Act as a technical lead for AI initiatives—driving planning, architecture, and execution while mentoring junior engineers. Partner with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and translate them into ML/AI projects. Architect and implement scalable pipelines for data processing, model training, evaluation, and deployment using tools such as Vertex AI, BigQuery, and PyTorch. Own and evolve modeling strategies across domains, ensuring high performance and responsible AI practices. Rapidly prototype and iterate on innovative solutions using Python, PyTorch, and other open-source frameworks. Stay current with cutting-edge research and proactively introduce new tools and methods to the team. Clearly communicate technical plans, results, and insights to both technical and executive stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field (PhD preferred). 5+ years of experience in machine learning, with at least 2 years focused on generative AI, including LLMs, transformers, or diffusion models. Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end AI/ML initiatives from ideation through production deployment. Expert proficiency in Python, with deep knowledge of PyTorch and experience building production-grade ML systems. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, specifically Vertex AI and BigQuery. Strong background in data modeling, machine learning algorithms, and performance optimization. Effective collaborator with strong communication skills and a business-oriented mindset. Preferred Qualifications Experience with open-source LLM tools and ecosystems (e.g., Hugging Face, LangChain). Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools (CI/CD for ML, model monitoring, retraining pipelines). Background in product-driven ML development or AI/ML in customer-facing applications.
