Senior Model N Business Analyst

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong exposure to Model N / Channel Management systems. This role is primarily focused on bridging business and IT teams by translating business data and reporting requirements into clear technical specifications for data extraction and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of channel data (pricing, rebates, chargebacks, and contracts) and the ability to map requirements to system data structures (tables/fields) to support reporting needs. Key Responsibilities • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT/data teams for Model N-related data and reporting needs. • Gather and document business requirements focused on data extraction, reporting, and analysis. • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for IT, including data mapping (tables, fields, joins). • Work closely with IT teams to enable accurate data pulls from Model N and related systems. • Identify relevant data sources within Model N (and integrated systems) to support business use cases. • Validate data extracts and reports to ensure accuracy and alignment with business expectations. • Support ad-hoc and recurring reporting requests from business users. • Assist in troubleshooting data issues and resolving discrepancies. • Collaborate on UAT activities related to reporting and data validation. Required Skills & Qualifications • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Analyst. • Hands-on experience with Model N or similar Channel/Revenue Management systems. • Strong understanding of channel data: pricing, rebates, chargebacks, contracts, and incentives. • Proven ability to translate business data requirements into technical specifications for IT teams. • Strong understanding of data structures, including tables, fields, and relationships. • Experience working with data extraction and reporting requirements. • Good SQL knowledge for data validation and analysis. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in semiconductor or high-tech companies • Familiarity with data warehousing and reporting tools (e.g., BI tools). • Experience working with cross-system data (ERP, CRM, Model N integrations). • Exposure to large-scale data or reporting transformation projects. Soft Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Attention to detail, especially with data accuracy. • Clear communication between business and technical teams. • Ability to manage multiple data/reporting requests in parallel.
