About the Role We are seeking a Senior OnBase Business Systems Analyst to play a key role in a major Enterprise Content Management (ECM) modernization initiative within the banking sector. This role will support the migration of a complex SharePoint 2016 environment to Hyland OnBase, focusing on requirements gathering, process reengineering, and user adoption across multiple business units. The ideal candidate is a seasoned business analyst with hands-on experience delivering ECM solutions-especially within regulated, content-rich environments-and a strong understanding of Hyland OnBase architecture and modules. Key Responsibilities • Lead business requirements gathering for the migration of legacy content to Hyland OnBase, partnering with business stakeholders to define functional and compliance needs. • Analyze and document current SharePoint 2016 content structures, workflows, permissions, metadata, and folder hierarchies. • Translate legacy document management practices into metadata-driven, automated workflows within OnBase. • Author comprehensive documentation including BRDs, user stories, data maps, and process diagrams aligned with OnBase capabilities. • Collaborate with ECM architects, developers, and risk/compliance teams to ensure solution design meets regulatory and audit standards. • Support the migration planning lifecycle: content analysis, data cleansing, QA, remediation, and user acceptance testing (UAT). • Drive user testing, script development, issue resolution, and final sign-off processes. • Facilitate metadata governance, taxonomy design, access controls, and retention policy alignment. • Participate in training, demos, and change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of the new platform. Required Qualifications • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with direct involvement in ECM initiatives, including platform migration and modernization. • Strong hands-on experience with Hyland OnBase, including modules such as Workflow, WorkView, Document Imaging/Capture, and Application Enabler. • Proven experience analyzing and migrating content from SharePoint 2016, including complex and nested structures. • Deep understanding of ECM principles, metadata modeling, digital retention, and security in highly regulated industries. • Proficiency in creating detailed functional documentation, process maps, data mapping artifacts, and user stories. • Familiarity with OnBase Unity Client and end-user process validation. • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences. • Knowledge of structured data migration methodologies and tools. • Experience integrating OnBase with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, nCino, or core banking systems. • Prior work in Banking, Financial Services, or similarly regulated industries. • Understanding of change management practices and end-user training strategies.
