Senior Open Source Engineer | Remote

Position: Open Source Applied Engineer Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $100–$160 per hour Location: Remote Commitment: Part-time, flexible hours Role Responsibilities • Design and oversee evaluations for coding tasks across multiple programming languages • Develop robust test cases to assess system performance in diverse engineering scenarios • Analyze system behavior on real-world use cases to identify strengths and improvement areas • Communicate evaluation findings clearly to research teams to support optimization • Contribute expertise to improve scalability, performance, and code quality Requirements • Strong experience contributing to open-source projects with a consistent, high-quality contribution record • Strong experience with one or more programming languages including Python, Java, C, JavaScript, or TypeScript • Strong familiarity with widely used libraries, frameworks, and development tools • Strong understanding of software architecture, performance tuning, and scalable design patterns • Strong experience using Git, CI/CD systems, and open-source collaboration workflows • Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in distributed, asynchronous teams Application Process (Takes 20 Mins) • Upload your resume. • Complete an interview. • Submit a short form.
