Senior Operational Analytics Consultant Location: Charlotte, NC | Chandler, AZ | Dallas, TX (hybrid) Duration: 12 - 24 months Rate: 52 - 57 per hour The Service Reliability and Delivery team is seeking a Senior Operational Analytics Consultant to help transform operational data into meaningful business insights that drive executive decision-making. This long-term contract opportunity is available in Charlotte, Chandler, or Dallas and is ideal for professionals with expertise in operational analytics, SQL, and Power BI. You'll work closely with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Data Engineers, and Business Intelligence teams to bridge the gap between operational data and strategic business outcomes. Contract Duration: 12 - 24 months Skills Required · Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Management, Computer Science, or a related field · 5+ years of experience in operational analytics, business analytics, management consulting, strategy, or a similar analytical role · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex operational data · Experience using SQL to analyze and manipulate large datasets · Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms · Experience presenting analytical findings to senior leadership · Strong understanding of KPIs, KRIs, trend analysis, and performance measurement · Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills Desired Skills & Experience · Experience supporting IT Operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Service Management, or Enterprise Technology organizations · Knowledge of statistics, forecasting, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, or predictive analytics · Experience using Python for analytics · Experience identifying automation or process improvement opportunities through operational analytics · ITIL or COBIT certification · Experience leveraging AI or Generative AI tools to enhance analytics and reporting What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown · 40% Operational Analytics & Data Analysis · 30% SQL, Power BI & Reporting · 20% Predictive Analytics & Process Improvement · 10% Executive Presentations & Strategic Recommendations Daily Responsibilities · 80% Hands-On Analytics, Data Interpretation, and Reporting · 5% Management Duties · 15% Team Collaboration with SRE, Data Engineering, BI, and Leadership Teams
