Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer (Data Integration) - 100% remote Job Type: Contract The primary responsibility of this role is to design, develop, and optimize high-volume custom data load packages to import and transform data from customer-provided sources into our clients' internal claims processing system. Required Experience: • At least 8+ years of experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer. • Proven experience designing, building, and optimizing data loading workflows to process structured data from various sources (e.g., flat files, CSVs, external databases). • Deep understanding of data modeling, normalization, and transformation techniques. • Experience using Cursors to pull data from the database. • Experience with writing hierarchical queries. • Experience with external tables and high-volume data import into Oracle DB • Creating and maintaining stored procedures (including Packages, Procedures, Functions, and anonymous blocks) with Oracle PL/SQL. • Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, Explain plan etc… including creating Materialized Views and Indexes for better performance of summary tables, Autonomous Transactions, Coding Dynamic SQL statements. • Hands-on experience in XML generation inside PL/SQL components. • Good understanding of Oracle Explain Plan.
