Senior Organic Search Analyst

Our major insurance client is seeking a Senior Analyst of Organic Search to provide advanced analytics, measurement, and strategic insight for an enterprise SEO program. This role focuses on evaluating and improving visibility across traditional search engines and next-generation discovery channels, including AI-driven search experiences. As a trusted advisor to the SEO team, this individual connects organic performance, brand presence, and evolving search behavior to guide both day-to-day decisions and long-term strategy. The ideal candidate brings deep SEO analytics expertise, a strong measurement mindset, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights through close cross-functional collaboration. The Basics • Duration: 12 month assignment • Hours per Week: Full-time (approximately 40 hours) • Location Requirements: Hybrid; Boston, MA or Portsmouth, NH (2 days onsite/week) Top 3 Required Qualifications 1. Advanced experience in SEO analytics and organic search measurement within large-scale or enterprise digital environments 1. Strong proficiency in web analytics platforms, with hands-on experience connecting search performance to business outcomes 1. Proven ability to translate complex data into clear narratives and recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders Other Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in SEO analytics, organic growth, or digital marketing analytics • Experience with Adobe Analytics strongly preferred • Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar platforms • Experience with Power BI and exposure to SQL or Python is a plus • Understanding of SEO ranking signals, search algorithms, and emerging AI-influenced search behaviors • Background in data-intensive industries such as financial services, insurance, e-commerce, or SaaS preferred Key Responsibilities • Own SEO analytics and performance measurement across multiple digital properties • Build, quality-check, and maintain dashboards that connect rankings, visibility, and traffic trends • Identify performance shifts and deliver clear recommendations to drive continuous organic growth • Develop and maintain an SEO valuation framework that connects organic wins to business value • Support recurring reporting and pre-funnel traffic analysis for the organic channel • Analyze on-site behavior to inform data-backed recommendations in partnership with content and UX teams • Ensure accurate tracking, tagging, and data integrity across analytics and measurement platforms • Conduct competitive and market analyses to identify trends, share of voice changes, and emerging search features • Partner cross-functionally to integrate SEO insights into broader marketing strategy and planning • Support experimentation and deep-dive analysis across traditional and AI-driven search environments In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information.
