Senior OSIsoft PI Administrator

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior OSIsoft PI Administrator to oversee and optimize complex industrial data systems. You will be responsible for the health, integrity, and scalability of the PI System infrastructure, ensuring seamless data flow from operational technology (OT) sources to enterprise visualization tools. Key Responsibilities: • System Administration: Manage and maintain PI Data Archive, Asset Framework (AF), and PI Vision environments. • Performance Monitoring: Ensure high availability, system integrity, and optimal performance through proactive monitoring and patching. • Data Modeling: Develop and maintain AF Templates, Element Hierarchies, and complex Analytic Calculations. • Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues related to Tag Configuration, data flow, and Interface connectivity. • Collaboration: Partner with IT/OT teams for system upgrades, backups, and security implementation. • User Support: Assist end-users with PI Vision Dashboards and PI DataLink reporting to drive data-led decision-making. Essential Skills: • 6+ years of deep technical expertise in OSIsoft PI System components. • Proficiency in configuring PI Interfaces and understanding Industrial Protocols like OPC. • Expertise in PI Asset Framework (AF) design and management. • Strong background in Time-Series Data and industrial data systems. • Scripting capability using PowerShell or Python for automation. Desirable Skills: • Experience with PI SDK or PI Web API for custom integrations. • Background in Utilities or Energy sector operations. • Advanced knowledge of IT/OT Cybersecurity best practices.
