This role requires deep technical expertise, architectural thinking, and the ability to deliver enterprise‑grade BI solutions in a distributed environment. You will design, develop, and optimize advanced Power BI ecosystems that support strategic decision‑making across financial markets, geospatial intelligence, and enterprise reporting domains. As a senior contributor, you will collaborate with global stakeholders, lead BI initiatives end‑to‑end, and ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and high‑impact analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities • Architect, develop, and maintain complex Power BI dashboards and analytical models for equity, fixed income, derivatives, and enterprise reporting. • Lead requirement‑gathering sessions with business stakeholders to design end‑to‑end BI solutions, including semantic models, ETL pipelines, and advanced DAX logic. • Implement and manage enterprise‑level data security, row‑level security (RLS), workspace governance, and controlled report distribution across global business units. • Drive Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning) and oversee project tracking, documentation, and production migrations in a professional environment. • Build geospatial analytics, KPI frameworks, and performance dashboards using Power BI’s advanced mapping and visualization capabilities. • Develop and optimize Paginated Reports using Power BI Report Builder, ensuring high performance and minimal latency. • Utilize SQL, PL/SQL, SSIS, and other ETL tools to orchestrate robust data extraction, transformation, and loading for analytical consumption. • Conduct advanced analytics using Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and multi‑source attribution models to support segmentation and performance insights. • Mentor and guide distributed team members on Power BI best practices, data modeling standards, and development frameworks. • Support geospatial data integration for financial, utility, and GIS‑driven analytics. • Produce comprehensive documentation for data sources, transformation logic, and BI development standards to support knowledge sharing. Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and enterprise data applications. • Expert‑level proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, Power Pivot, and the broader Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate). • Strong command of SDLC, including analysis, architecture, development, testing, and deployment. • Hands‑on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, SSIS, and ETL frameworks for complex data modeling and transformation. • Advanced knowledge of data modeling techniques (Star Schema, Snowflake), data governance, and performance optimization. • Deep experience with SQL Server, T‑SQL, and enterprise data integration. • Proven ability to work effectively in Agile Scrum and hybrid Waterfall environments. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to operate independently and manage multiple concurrent priorities. • Experience managing report deployments, workspace governance, and environment‑level access controls. • Familiarity with Azure services, PBRS, Office 365, SharePoint, and the Microsoft cloud ecosystem. Preferred Skills • Experience with geospatial analytics, GIS data integration, and Power BI mapping layers. • Expertise in advanced DAX, predictive modeling, and statistical forecasting. • Exposure to cloud‑native data engineering tools (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks) is an asset.
