Role description
Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech.
US Citizenship Required.
The Senior Power Platform Developer designs, develops, tests, and maintains business applications across the Microsoft 365 and Power Platform ecosystem to meet functional, performance, and quality requirements. As a senior member of the team, this role owns solution architecture end to end, sets technical direction, mentors other developers, and partners with stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, user-centered low-code/pro-code solutions with scope to leverage an existing AI bot to enhance application functionality.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain complex Canvas Apps, owning the solution architecture from data layer through user experience.
Drive UI/UX design for applications, information architecture, intuitive navigation, responsive layouts, accessibility, and consistent, on-brand component patterns that prioritize end-user adoption.
Develop and orchestrate business process automation using Power Automate (cloud flows, approvals, HTTP/connector integrations).
Architect SharePoint Online solutions including lists, libraries, permissions, and site structures to support application data and content needs.
Write, test, and optimize PowerFx with attention to delegation, performance, and data source limits.
Establish and champion development standards, reusable patterns, and ALM practices (solution packaging, environment strategy, source control).
Lead requirements discovery with stakeholders, translate ambiguous business needs into technical designs, and deliver iteratively.
Test, debug, and maintain existing applications, including troubleshooting connector, authentication, and data issues.
Document solutions, configurations, and handoff materials for internal teams.
(AI scope) Work with an existing AI bot to analyze responses, craft and refine prompts, and integrate AI-assisted capabilities into Power Platform apps and flows.
Required Qualifications
5 years experience; Advanced proficiency with Power Automate and PowerFx, including performance and delegation optimization.
Demonstrated UI/UX sensibility ,designing clean, intuitive, accessible interfaces and reusable component patterns.
Solid understanding of SharePoint Online administration and information architecture
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and lead in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Experience with prompt engineering and analyzing AI-generated responses for accuracy and consistency.
Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API and Entra ID.
Power BI reporting and data modeling experience.
JavaScript/jQuery for client-side customizations, and PnP PowerShell for SharePoint administration.
Experience working in an Agile / SAFe delivery environment (e.g., Jira).
Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-200, PL-400).
