Role description
Blu Omega is looking for a Senior Power Platform Engineer that will play a critical role in developing and implementing applications and automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and related technology. This role demands a deep understanding of Power Platform and other Microsoft technology and the ability to mentor junior engineers. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating complex functional and technical business requirements into custom solutions with engaging customer experiences using low-code development technologies in SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dynamics 365, and other Microsoft applications. You'll participate in product development and production deployment. β€’ Responsibilities: Develop standard and custom applications, workflows, and dashboards using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dynamics 365, and Copilot Studio. β€’ Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and challenges related to Power Platform solutions. β€’ Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies to ensure scalability and efficiency. β€’ Develop and implement data integration and migration solutions using Power Platform connectors, APIs, and data gateways. β€’ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. β€’ Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables. β€’ Stay updated with the latest features, capabilities, innovations and best practices in the Power Platform ecosystem. β€’ Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team and organization. β€’ Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. β€’ Minimum of 8 years of experience in front end or low code business application software development. β€’ 4+ years of developing applications with Power Platform including Power Apps (both canvas and model-driven) and Power Automate β€’ Experience in web and front-end software development techniques and frameworks. β€’ Experience with conducting and participating in code reviews. β€’ Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. β€’ Nice to Haves:Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400). β€’ Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and SharePoint and how they integrate with Power Platform. β€’ Understanding of relational databases and experience with data modeling and design. β€’ Experience in SharePoint and MS Dynamics development and migration. β€’ Experience/knowledge of web services and API development including custom connectors β€’ Experience working in an Agile environment. β€’ Experience using tools such as Jira, Navicat, and Azure DevOps.
