Role description
Contract Python Developer (Django) - Remote (UK-based) Duration: 6 months (initial) Day Rate: £450 - £575 per day (Inside IR35) Location: Fully Remote (UK only) Fruition Group are working with a leading UK consultancy to find an experienced Contract Python Developer to work on a large greenfield application working with the global team. The Role: You'll be contributing to the design and development of a modern web platform built on Django and Python. The role involves close collaboration with product, DevOps, and data teams to deliver scalable, high-performance services. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain backend applications using Python and Django • Integrate APIs and third-party services • Work with modern CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical documentation • Collaborate in an Agile environment Skills & Experience: • Strong commercial experience with Python and Django • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerisation tools desirable • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Contract Details: • Initial 6-month contract with potential extension • Inside IR35 • Remote working (must be based in the UK and eligible to work without sponsorship)
