Senior Python Developer

Job Title: Senior Python Developer Location: North Carolina (NC) Contract Type: W2 Visa Status: Open to H1B, H4-EAD, GC, USC, L2-EAD Experience Required: 10+ years of professional software development experience Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Python Developer with a strong background in Python and Java development, as well as hands-on expertise in AWS Cloud Services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using core Python, Django, and modern cloud-based architecture. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, test, and deploy robust backend services and APIs using Python and Django • Develop and maintain applications using both Python and Java • Leverage AWS services including EC2, S3, API Gateway, Cloud Watch, DynamoDB, and Lambda • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features • Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues as needed • Adhere to best practices in software development, including code reviews and testing Required Skills: • Proficiency in Python and Java with deep understanding of core language features • Strong expertise in Django and RESTful API development • Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, API Gateway, Cloud Watch, DynamoDB, and Lambda • Solid understanding of software engineering principles and agile methodologies • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working in a cloud-native environment • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
