Work Mode Remote 📍 Candidate can be based in India 🕘 Must support EMEA time zone Role Overview We are seeking a Senior SAP Analytics Backend Consultantwith a strong consulting mindset and deep technical expertise in SAP Analytics and data platforms. The ideal candidate will design and implement scalable backend architectures, complex data models, and robust authorization concepts while acting as a technical lead within the team. This role requires close collaboration with frontend, technical, and business stakeholders and the ability to mentor junior consultants while driving high-quality delivery. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement complex data modelsin SAP Datasphere • Define and implement backend architectures and authorization conceptsusing oData APIs • Act as a technical lead, mentoring and supporting junior team members • Collaborate with cross-functional teams(frontend, backend, business) to ensure solution alignment • Drive proactive problem-solvingwith a consulting-oriented approach • Ensure high standards of quality, performance, and documentation • Take ownership of backend analytics deliverables and lead by example Required Skills Experience Mandatory • 8+ years of overall SAP experience • 3+ yearsas an SAP Analytics Backend Consultant • Strong hands-on expertise in: • SAP BW (7.x / BW on HANA / BW/4HANA) • SAP HANA performance optimization • Authorization concepts data modeling • Strong programming skills in Java and SQL • Excellent English communication skills(written spoken) • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and lead initiatives Nice to Have • Experience with SAP BTP Datasphere • Exposure to modern analytics architectures on SAP BTP • Prior experience in mentoring or technical leadership roles Key Competencies • Consulting mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills • Proactive, solution-oriented approach • Strong collaboration and knowledge-sharing attitude • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
