Position -1 Senior SAP BASIS Job Title: Senior SAP Basis & Oracle DBA Specialist (Migration & Remediation) Location: Remote (Offshore - India) Duration: 6–8 Weeks (High Potential for Extension) Time Zone: Must overlap with US Eastern (EST) Mornings Role Overview We are seeking an elite Technical Consultant (or a specialized duo) to lead a critical system remediation and migration project for an SAP BW 7.5 on Oracle 19c landscape. The primary objective is to execute a system copy via R3load while simultaneously identifying and removing Oracle Advanced Compression (ACO) footprints to ensure licensing compliance. Key Responsibilities System Copy Leadership: Execute end-to-end system copies (Dev, QA, Prod) using R3load (export/import) and backup/restore methods. ACO Remediation: Identify, decompress, and rebuild database objects where Oracle Advanced Compression was inadvertently triggered. Consistency Validation: Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies where tables exist in the ABAP Dictionary (SE11) but are missing or inconsistent at the Database level. Optimization: Perform database space reorganization and performance tuning post-migration. Compliance Documentation: Provide technical evidence that ACO has been successfully removed from the environment to satisfy audit requirements.
