We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP BusinessObjects Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality BI solutions using SAP BusinessObjects tools. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in report development, universe design, data analysis, and SQL, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Report Development:
Design, create, and maintain reports using SAP Web Intelligence (WebI) and Crystal Reports.
Deliver accurate and insightful reports to support business operations and decision-making.
1. Universe Development:
Design and build SAP BusinessObjects Universes (UDT/IDT) to serve as a semantic layer for complex data sources.
Ensure universes are optimized for performance and user accessibility.
1. Data Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to identify reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Analyze business processes and data structures to ensure comprehensive BI solutions.
1. Testing & Deployment:
Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for all developed reports and universes.
Validate accuracy, performance, and functionality before production release.
1. Troubleshooting & Support:
Provide technical support for BusinessObjects reports and applications.
Identify and resolve system or report-related issues in a timely manner.
1. Documentation:
Maintain detailed documentation for reports, universes, and BI processes.
Update technical and functional documentation throughout project lifecycles.
Technical Expertise Required:
SAP BusinessObjects Tools: Web Intelligence (WebI), Crystal Reports, Universe Design Tool (UDT/IDT).
SQL: Strong proficiency in writing, optimizing, and debugging complex SQL queries.
Data Visualization: Ability to present complex data clearly and effectively through BI dashboards/reports.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret business data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
Communication: Excellent collaboration and presentation skills to engage both business and IT stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Skilled in troubleshooting, debugging, and implementing efficient solutions to technical challenges.
