Senior SAP Data Migration Consultant

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Data Migration Consultant to lead and execute complex data migration projects from legacy systems into the SAP environment. This role requires deep expertise in data migration methodologies, ETL processes, and hands-on experience with Syniti, with a focus on migrating data to SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and Ariba. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale SAP data migration initiatives with precision, governance, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead and manage all phases of SAP data migration projects—from planning and design to execution, validation, and go-live support. 1. Develop and implement data migration strategies, including data profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation. 1. Utilize Syniti and other migration tools to automate and streamline data movement and transformation processes. 1. Design and develop ETL processes for migrating data from legacy systems to SAP and SuccessFactors environments. 1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and ensure data integrity and completeness. 1. Coordinate with technical teams to ensure smooth integration between legacy and SAP systems. 1. Perform data quality checks, resolve inconsistencies, and document processes for transparency and repeatability. 1. Provide post-migration support and troubleshoot data-related issues after go-live. 1. Mentor and guide junior team members in data migration techniques and best practices.10. Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and audit standards throughout the migration process. 1. Manage project timelines, budgets, and risks to deliver within scope and quality expectations. Required Skills & Experience ● 15+ years of experience in data migration with a strong focus on SAP implementations ● Proven experience migrating data to SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and Ariba ● Hands-on experience with Syniti (mandatory) ● Expertise in data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and validation methodologies ● Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages ● In-depth understanding of data migration frameworks, best practices, and quality controls ● Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills ● Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders in fast-paced, enterprise environments ● Experience managing migration projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies Preferred Qualifications ● SAP certifications in data migration or data management ● Experience with additional data migration tools and ETL technologies ● Knowledge of data governance, security standards, and audit compliance
