Title: Senior Snowflake Data Engineer Location: Portland, Oregon Duration: Long Term Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to join a dynamic and fast-paced data engineering team. This role requires a strong individual contributor who can independently analyze requirements, ask thoughtful questions, design solutions, and execute with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Matillion, along with strong SQL and Python skills. This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple areas including data engineering, cloud data platforms, analytics enablement, AI-related initiatives, and production support. Required Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake development • Strong experience with dbt (mandatory) • Strong experience with Matillion (mandatory) • Advanced SQL skills • Python development experience • Experience designing and building modern cloud-based data pipelines • Informatica experience • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance Preferred Skills • Exposure to Openflow • Azure cloud experience • Understanding of AWS concepts • Experience with Snowflake Cortex and Snowflake Intelligence • Exposure to AI/LLM technologies, Chatbots, RAG, MCP, Agent-based systems, or related concepts AI & Modern Data Platform Expectations This role does not require an AI expert or Data Scientist.
