Senior Sourcing Analyst (Contract)
Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Sourcing Analyst to support enterprise-wide supplier management, sourcing optimization, contract consolidation, and cost reduction initiatives. This role will focus on identifying procurement opportunities, evaluating supplier agreements, conducting negotiations, and partnering with stakeholders to drive measurable business value.
This is a hands-on sourcing position focused on execution, supplier strategy, contract optimization, and savings realization. The ideal candidate brings strong procurement expertise, supplier negotiation experience, contract analysis skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a complex business environment.
Responsibilities
β’ Evaluate supplier agreements to identify cost savings and optimization opportunities.
β’ Analyze existing supplier contracts and develop recommendations to improve commercial terms and procurement value.
β’ Lead supplier and contract consolidation initiatives across multiple spend categories.
β’ Develop and execute supplier negotiation strategies.
β’ Partner with stakeholders to prioritize sourcing opportunities and business objectives.
β’ Review and compare contract language, pricing structures, terms, obligations, and commercial provisions.
β’ Support supplier relationship management activities.
β’ Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Contract Administration, and business stakeholders.
β’ Research supplier spend, utilization patterns, and sourcing opportunities.
β’ Track sourcing initiatives, project milestones, savings outcomes, and overall program progress.
β’ Manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to leadership and stakeholders.
β’ Support procurement organizations in achieving cost-reduction and operational efficiency goals.
β’ Participate in sourcing strategy development while maintaining a strong execution focus.
β’ Perform procurement analysis and reporting to support business objectives.
Required Qualifications
β’ 5+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, supply chain, or contract negotiation experience.
β’ Experience reviewing, interpreting, and comparing supplier and commercial agreements.
β’ Proven supplier negotiation experience.
β’ Strong knowledge of procurement and sourcing methodologies.
β’ Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers.
β’ Demonstrated ability to identify and execute cost-reduction initiatives.
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously.
β’ Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience supporting large-scale business transformation
β’ Experience across multiple procurement spend categories.
β’ Supplier consolidation and contract rationalization experience.
β’ Experience in large enterprise procurement organizations.
β’ Experience supporting cost-reduction or operational efficiency programs.
β’ Experience with procurement platforms such as SAP, Ariba, Fieldglass, or similar tools.
β’ Experience within regulated or highly structured industries.
