This role will play a critical part in managing and optimizing our data infrastructure, specifically focusing on financial applications and the migration of legacy systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL development, experience with managing large backlogs of tasks, and a passion for improving data processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Backlog Management: Work through a significant volume of tickets generated by the business, addressing various requests related to financial applications. • Stored Procedure Development: Modify, optimize, and troubleshoot existing stored procedures to enhance application performance. • Application Support & Modernization: Collaborate with the development team to re-write and modernize several legacy applications. • Data Migration: Assist in migrating data from legacy systems to modern platforms, ensuring data integrity and continuity. • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects. • Performance Tuning: Ensure optimal performance of database systems by identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks. • Financial Systems Expertise: Support multiple financial applications, providing database solutions that are scalable, efficient, and secure.
