A global biotechnology company is seeking a Senior Systems Support Analyst to join its Global Technology Services (GTS) Infrastructure & Operations team. In this critical role, you will support the advanced technologies that enable scientific innovation, operational excellence, and employee productivity across international sites.
As a Senior Systems Support Analyst, you will deliver high-level technical support for enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and collaboration tools used throughout the organization. You will manage escalated incidents, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and play a key part in maintaining secure, reliable IT operations for a growing global biotech workforce. You’ll also collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and contribute to ongoing system optimization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for hardware, software, networking, and cloud applications supporting global business operations.
• Deliver Tier 2/3 support for issues escalated from the Service Desk, including executive and VIP users.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Active Directory, remote access solutions, and enterprise collaboration tools used across global biotech sites.
• Support AV systems, video conferencing, and hybrid meeting technology for scientific and corporate teams.
• Lead or support IT projects—including upgrades, rollouts, and migrations—critical to worldwide biotechnology operations.
• Maintain documentation, ensure compliance with company security policies, and contribute to process improvements.
• Provide training and guidance to junior IT staff and end users.
Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of IT support experience, preferably within a fast-paced, regulated, or scientific industry.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11, macOS, O365, Active Directory, VPN, networking, and collaboration platforms.
• Experience with MDM solutions (Intune, JAMF) and endpoint security tools.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and analytical skills.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field; industry certifications preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some travel and after-hours support required.
