Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Tableau Developer to transform complex data into clear, compelling, and actionable business insights. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Tableau, Tableau Online, Salesforce, Snowflake, Business Intelligence, and Data Visualization.
The selected candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, designing and developing Tableau dashboards and reports, analyzing data, ensuring data quality, and delivering data-driven insights to business stakeholders. The role will also involve end-user training, documentation, and continuous improvement of BI solutions.
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of technical education and professional experience.
Required Skills & Experience
• 7+ years of experience in Tableau Dashboard Design and Development.
• 7+ years of experience in Data Visualization and Data Storytelling.
• 7+ years of experience gathering and documenting Business Requirements.
• 7+ years of experience in Data Analysis and Interpretation.
• 7+ years of experience developing and implementing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
• 5+ years of experience working with cloud-based data warehousing platforms, specifically Snowflake.
• 3+ years of experience integrating Tableau with Salesforce.
• 3+ years of experience working with Tableau Online.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles, dashboard design, and BI best practices.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective Tableau dashboards and reports.
Preferred Skills
• 7+ years of experience with Predictive Analytics and Forecasting Models.
• 7+ years of experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• 5+ years of experience with Data Warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• 1+ year of experience with Sigma Computing.
• Experience working in data-driven business environments and communicating analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with business users, project teams, and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Transform complex datasets into clear and meaningful visualizations that support business decision-making.
• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Research and recommend innovative BI solutions and data visualization techniques.
• Integrate Tableau with Salesforce, Snowflake, and other enterprise data sources.
• Evaluate predictive analytics and forecasting models to support strategic planning and future business scenarios.
• Ensure the accuracy, quality, consistency, and integrity of data presented in dashboards and reports.
• Present analytical findings and business insights clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, dashboard documentation, and user guides.
• Conduct training sessions to help end users effectively use Tableau, Tableau Online, and other BI tools.
• Troubleshoot dashboard, reporting, data, and visualization issues as needed.
• Continuously enhance and refine BI solutions based on evolving business and project requirements.
