Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tableau Developer with a strong background in data visualization, SQL development, and cloud-based data environments. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize advanced BI dashboards and reporting solutions, enabling data-driven insights for enterprise-level initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Work with large and complex datasets sourced from multiple systems.
• Understand and apply data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing concepts to ensure reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Integrate and manage BI solutions on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Ensure performance tuning, version control, and data governance standards are maintained.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of high-quality BI solutions that meet evolving business needs.
Required Skills:
• 5–8 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence (BI) or Data Visualization.
Expert-level proficiency in:
• Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Online, and Tableau Prep
• SQL – complex query writing, performance tuning, and optimization
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL design, and data warehouse architecture.
• Proven experience working with large-scale, multi-source datasets.
• Familiarity with GCP, Snowflake, and/or BigQuery.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Python or R for data manipulation (optional but preferred).
• Exposure to BI architecture or solution design at the enterprise level.
• Experience leading or mentoring junior developers on BI best practices.
