Senior Telecommunications Analyst

Summary of Role Seeking candidates with hands-on experience in telecom billing/invoice analysis and telecom data analytics. Must have strong Tableau/large-report analysis experience, along with carrier billing review, wireless/wired data charge analysis, cost optimization, and reporting to leadership. This is not a general telecom support role; candidates should have experience in telecom billing analysis, carrier overcharge review, and data/reporting analysis. • In-depth experience with data analytics tools like Tableau, and the ability to work effectively with large data reports to ensure accuracy in identifying cost savings opportunities and optimizing expenditures and invoice overcharges from carriers. • In-depth experience with Excel spreadsheets, pivot tables, databases, PowerPoint, AI tools, and other relevant tools. SQL is good knowledge to have. • In depth analytical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities for addressing complex challenges • Superior invoice analysis, reporting large data analysis and vendor payments. • Experience in developing reports, presentations, and Power BI dashboards • Manage high-level data reports, performing in-depth analysis of reports and communicating results to leadership, Familiarity with ServiceNow and Peoplesoft • Able to identify, recommend, and lead cost-saving opportunities and process improvements • Experience in Telecom Expense Management, in managing telecom expenses, auditing telecom wireless, wired data usage and charges. • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills – ability to summarize and explain complex information QUALIFICATIONS • BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred • Experience with project-based financial management budgeting/forecasting and or auditing • Experience with ServiceNow, reporting and dashboards. • Experience with PeopleSoft. • Superior skills with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) • Ability to work with large databases and financial software applications • Superior skills with spreadsheets and databases • Profound knowledge of analytical functions and table functions • Ability to perform financial and data analysis using various financial systems • Ability to independently compile, research and perform in-depth analysis of projects • Ability to perform high-volume work accurately and independently • Ability to gather business requirements and outline business needs • Outstanding organizational & quantitative skills as well as experience managing and resolving complex resource allocation problems • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
