Senior TypeScript Engineer (Node.JS)

Senior TypeScript Engineer (Node.js) Contract Hybrid, Greenwood Village We’re looking for a Senior TypeScript Developer with strong backend experience and a passion for learning new domains and technologies. You’ll join a small, agile team building high-scale REST and event-driven microservices that process millions of events daily. You’ll design, code, test, monitor, and deliver end-to-end solutions—balancing multiple priorities while driving reliability, performance, and innovation. What You’ll Do • Design and develop scalable microservices in Node.js / TypeScript • Build and maintain REST APIs and event-driven architectures • Implement automated tests, perform debugging, and ensure service quality • Use AWS managed services, Redis, and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB) • Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and related container orchestration tools • Monitor systems with tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or Splunk • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation • Collaborate cross-functionally to solve complex software challenges • Mentor junior engineers and champion engineering best practices What You Bring • Expert knowledge of TypeScript and backend development • Experience with cloud architecture, caching, and observability tools • Strong grasp of DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum practices • Solid understanding of API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI) • Proven ability to deliver high-quality software with minimal supervision • Curiosity and drive to continuously learn new technologies and domains Nice to Have • Experience with Scala, software security principles, or distributed systems • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience #AccessData
