Senior Workato Developer

Job Title: Senior Workato Developer Location: 100% Remote Duration: 16 Weeks (High possibility of extension) Role Overview • Senior Workato Developer responsible for designing, building, and supporting enterprise-grade integrations using the Workato iPaaS platform. This role leads to complex automation initiatives, ensures scalable and secure integration solutions, and supports delivery across hybrid and cloud environments. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop Workato recipes, triggers, and workflows for system integrations across SaaS, API, and on-prem systems • Build and maintain custom connectors using Workato SDK and integrate REST/SOAP APIs • Implement event-driven, batch, and conditional integration patterns, including error handling and monitoring • Lead end-to-end integration lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy, hypercare, and support) • Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders on requirements, solution design, and interface implementation • Perform unit, integration, and performance testing and ensure production readiness • Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshooting, and optimization of integrations • Enable secure hybrid integrations using Workato On-Prem Agent and environment configurations Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of integration development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Workato iPaaS • Workato certifications (Automation Pro / Technical Developer) • Proficiency in Workato recipe development, connectors, data mapping, and orchestration • Strong knowledge of APIs (REST/SOAP), JSON/XML, and event-driven architecture. • Experience with error handling, monitoring, and performance optimization in integrations • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps practices • Experience with cloud platforms and hybrid integration patterns Nice to Have • Experience with AI/Agentic capabilities in Workato (GenAI, RAG, prompt engineering) • Exposure to other iPaaS platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services).
