Service Delivery Manager

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Project/Delivery Manager with a strong foundation in Data Engineering and AI/ML, who has evolved from a hands-on technical background into managing and delivering complex, AI driven data projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project execution covering planning, estimation, stakeholder management, and delivery quality—while ensuring innovative AI and data solutions for clients. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end delivery of AI, GenAI, and data analytics projects on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Design and provide scalable, data-driven, and AI-based solutions aligned with client business goals. • Work closely with offshore teams for project execution and delivery excellence. • Manage project scope, timelines, resources, risks, and quality standards. • Drive project estimation, budgeting, and resource forecasting for new client engagements. • Implement and oversee solutions leveraging BigQuery, AI/ML frameworks, Agentic AI, and SAC Analytics. • Ensure compliance with quality, security, and governance standards. • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reporting, and tracking deliverables. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Scientists, Engineers, Architects, and Analysts) to ensure successful project outcomes. Must Have Skills • Strong hands-on background in SQL, Hadoop, BigQuery (GCP), and data development. • Proven experience transitioning from data engineering to Data Science / AI / Machine Learning roles. • Minimum 10+ years of industry experience, with significant exposure to data and AI project delivery. • Experience in Agentic AI, GenAI-based delivery, and AI Ops (beyond use of AI assistants). • Expertise in project planning, estimation, execution, and reporting. • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership abilities. • Proven capability in managing offshore/global teams. Preferred Qualifications • GCP Professional Certification (Data Engineer / AI Engineer / Project Management). • Experience with enterprise analytics tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). • Exposure to end-to-end implementation of GenAI solutions in production settings. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and delivery models.
