Role description
Position Summary
The Service Operations & Audit Supervisor is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, data accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement within service operations. This role oversees reporting and auditing activities, monitors site performance, and escalates issues to the proper teams. Acting as a liaison between operations, compliance, vendor management, and field service teams, the supervisor leverages tools like Power BI, Airtable, and CRM to track performance, identify trends, and ensure alignment with company standards and SLAs. Additionally, they supervise data and reporting processes, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, and support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Data & Reporting Oversight
· Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance in data models, dashboards, and reports.
· Maintain standardized structures, naming conventions, and governance across Power BI, CRM, and related platforms.
· Serve as the first point of escalation for data quality, visualization, and reporting issues.
· Guide KPI sourcing, reporting structures, and Power BI integrations.
· Deliver clean, actionable reporting to leadership to support decision-making.
· Identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities, recommending solutions for improvement.
Power BI & CRM Leadership (Hands-On Support)
· Provide direct assistance to team members working in Power BI and Dynamics 365, helping with:
o Data modeling, queries, and Power Automate
o Dashboard creation, refinement, and performance tuning
o Integration of Airtable or other source data into Power BI for unified reporting
· Ensure dashboards and CRM reports deliver actionable insights for operations, vendor management, compliance, and PWA metrics.
· Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for both tools, training and mentoring the team to improve outputs.
Process & Governance Oversight
· Maintain and enforce data governance, documentation, and version control standards across all systems.
· Ensure workflows, reporting processes, and access permissions are aligned with compliance and operational requirements.
· Validate critical updates and approve finalized dashboards, reports, or documentation before publishing.
Cross-Team Support & Supervision
· Support team members handling Airtable, SharePoint/DMS, JotForm, CRM and KPIs.
· Guide the team on best practices for data entry, tracking, and reporting.
· Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or inconsistencies and provide solutions to improve workflow and output quality.
Strategic Insight & Reporting
· Ensure leadership receives accurate, actionable reporting that informs decision-making.
· Highlight trends, risks, and opportunities based on data insights.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives using insights from Power BI, CRM, and other data sources.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
· 6+ years of experience in service operations, vendor coordination, or compliance functions.
· Strong knowledge of Power BI, Airtable, and CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar).
· Experience with auditing, data integrity checks, and operational reporting.
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
· Excellent communication and documentation skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with multiple stakeholders.
· Experience in the renewable energy, field service, or technical service industry is a plus.
