SharePoint Migration Project Manager / Business Analyst

We are partnering with a prestigious global financial services group to recruit a professional to support a high-profile SharePoint migration programme within their alternative assets division.
The Role:
You will be responsible for analysing, planning, and supporting the migration of large data sets stored across multiple file servers to SharePoint. Working closely with Data Owners, IT Business Relationship Managers, and SharePoint/Teams administrators, you will ensure a smooth and accurate migration while identifying potential blockers, business impacts, and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyse file server data, identify data owners, and determine migration paths.
• Collaborate with Business Relationship Managers and IT teams to plan and execute migrations.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify solutions, and ensure alignment with business processes.
• Create and manage UAT test plans, validate migrations, and resolve defects.
• Document requirements, including user stories, process maps, and data rules.
• Provide clear updates and insights to Project Managers and senior stakeholders.
• Support a structured and flexible approach to ambiguous challenges.
Experience & Skills:
• Proven experience as a PM or Business Analyst on data migration and SharePoint projects.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work through large datasets and provide clear insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management across multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural environments.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Experience with process mapping, gap analysis, and UAT.
• Knowledge of data quality, ownership, and ecosystem management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining attention to detail.
