The Opportunity
CACI is a seeking a SharePoint and PowerApps Developer. This position would be working remote; however, the team would prefer to have candidates local to the DMV area that can attend client meetings as required.
You will join a high-functioning team that leverages SharePoint Online and Power Platform technologies (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate) to develop reusable Transparency Portal solutions deployed to our GCC-High Environment supporting a wide range of users. You’ll provide software engineering and development support for multiple applications. We develop and maintain a portfolio of applications using SaaS solutions that automate business processes, improve transparency, enhance efficiencies through automated workflows and enhance end-user decision making through purpose-built dashboards. You will collaborate with CACI project leadership and the OneScope Portal Leads to understand the customer’s needs and requirements, and then you will work independently to develop new functionality for inclusion within the baseline repository of modules available for deployment to program sites.
Responsibilities
Provides SharePoint Online, PowerApps Development and Site Collection Administration support to the CACI BITS organization. Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to responding to queries, running diagnostics, troubleshooting issues, and recommending solutions. With oversight from senior developers, develop change requests that incorporate content, style, form, list, library, and workflow updates to new and existing applications. Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues. Provides updates at recurring meetings both verbally and in written reports. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. Provides thorough documentation and guide customers through using the applications developed.
• Developing SharePoint Pages and Power Apps functionality
• Developing modern, user friendly mockups and user interfaces
• Migrated developed components across sites
• Acting as a Site Collection Administrator for SharePoint Online sites.
• Research, requirements gathering, design, develop, and/or modify software applications.
• Present ideas for system improvements.
• Develop cost estimates for software developments or enhancements.
• Conduct impact analysis for software changes.
• Produce detailed specifications and write software code.
• Work closely with business analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements.
• Conduct unit tests and document findings.
• Adhere to program configuration change control standards.
• Develop User Guides walking users through how to leverage the developed applications
• Extend applications by using applicable application tools.
• Support and follow software release processes when producing software releases at the conclusion of each sprint.
• Maintain knowledge of feature and technical changes in the application.
Qualifications
Required:
• U.S. Citizen and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (or equivalent), or equivalent
• 7+ years of hands-on Power Apps/SharePoint Development and SharePoint administration experience
• Power Platform experience to include knowledge of PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
• Demonstrated experience extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies including testing and debugging
• Understanding PowerApps formulas and development methods
• Experience developing user-friendly canvas PowerApps
• 3+ years of PowerApps hands-on development experience developing forms based and Canvas Applications leveraging the Power Platform.
• Knowledge of Power BI and Power Automate
• Demonstrated experience with SharePoint migrations
• Demonstrated experience with APIs, and RESTful web service integrations to include implementing solutions with multiple data sources/connectors
Desired
• Strong Communication skills
• Ability to understand and implement best practices in management of data, including master data, reference data, metadata, and data quality
• IT systems development experience, with primary focus in the Microsoft solution stack and Cloud technologies
• Demonstrated experience developing model-based Power Apps using Dataverse as the data source
