Siemens Polarion Administer

Job Description Install, configure, and administer Siemens Polarion ALM environments (on-premise and/or cloud-hosted Polarion X). Manage project and global configurations: work item types, workflows, link roles, document templates, user roles, and access permissions. Maintain and customize Polarion using Velocity scripting, JavaScript, Python, and Polarion REST and SOAP APIs. Handle server-side administration including SVN and GIT repository management, clustering configuration, index rebuilding, and scheduled backup procedures. Participate in Agile/sprint-based delivery cycles and collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integrations (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Contribute to capacity planning, infrastructure lifecycle management, and technology roadmap discussions. Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and/or PostgreSQL databases in the context of Teamcenter or Polarion installations. Proficiency with GitHub for source code management of Teamcenter customization artifacts - branching, pull requests, versioning. Hands-on experience with Jira for change/defect tracking and integration with PLM/ALM toolchains. Scripting experience for automation and migration tasks (Python, Shell/Bash, PowerShell). Candidates should be comfortable working with some or all of the following technologies. Not expected to know every item, but depth in the core PLM stack is essential.
