Role overview
We are hiring experienced SimCorp Subject Matter Experts (SME) in a Business Analyst capacity to join project teams delivering SimCorp Dimension implementations, upgrades, integrations and optimisations. You will translate business needs into technical designs and configurations, lead module‑specific workstreams, and ensure successful front‑to‑back delivery across accounting, performance, data, reporting, collateral and settlements domains.
Key responsibilities
- Capture and document business requirements, process flows and acceptance criteria; translate these into configuration and delivery plans.
- Lead workshops and stakeholder sessions to define current state, target state and migration approaches.
- Provide advisory and hands‑on configuration support across SimCorp Dimension modules: Accounting, Performance, Data Integration, Reporting, Collateral Management, Settlements.
- Design and validate integration patterns and ETL/data mapping between SimCorp and upstream/downstream systems.
- Produce test plans, support UAT, validate results and sign off deliverables with business owners.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, data engineers and project managers to deliver on time and within budget.
- Create user documentation, run training sessions, and support post‑go‑live stabilisation.
- Identify process and system improvement opportunities and propose pragmatic solutions.
- Stay current with SimCorp releases, industry best practices and regulatory impacts.
Required qualifications and skills
- Proven Business Analyst or SME experience on SimCorp Dimension projects with hands‑on configuration experience.
- Strong knowledge of one or more SimCorp modules: Accounting, Performance, Data Integration, Reporting, Collateral, Settlements.
- Practical experience with data mappings, ETL, and integration patterns into enterprise ecosystems.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and documentation skills; ability to write clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Strong communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Comfortable working independently and within multi‑discipline teams in fast‑paced project environments.
- Fluent English; additional European language skills are a plus.
- Willingness to travel across Europe as project needs require.
Desirable
- Experience with SimCorp upgrade projects and cutover planning.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting, DevOps pipelines or CI/CD for FinTech applications.
- Consultancy experience and client‑facing delivery track record.
