Job#: 3030486 Job Description: Small Talk Developer Location: Wilmington, DE (Onsite) Pay Rate: $67/hour to $74/hour Employment Type: 12 Months Contract Role Overview We are seeking a Specialty Software Engineer for a contingent resource assignment. In this role, you will consult on and participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables. You will contribute to large-scale planning, analyze complex software engineering challenges, and collaborate with personnel to meet project deliverables. Key Responsibilities • Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Specialty Software Engineering. • Contribute to large-scale planning related to Specialty Software Engineering deliverables. • Review and analyze moderately complex Specialty Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. • Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet deliverables. • Leverage a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. • Package and deploy applications built with SmallTalk in non-production environments. • Collaborate with client personnel in Specialty Software Engineering. Required Qualifications Experience: 4+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education. 5+ years of SmallTalk development experience is required. Technical Skills: A clear understanding of OOPS techniques and design principles is required. Candidates should be able to package and deploy applications built with SmallTalk. Preferred Qualifications • Exposure to Microsoft SQL Server as a database is good to have. • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task. • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to learn the business domain quickly. Compensation & Benefits The pay rate for this position is between $67.81 and $72.33 per hour.
