Position- SmartStream TLM (Transaction Lifecycle Management) Developer Location- Boston, MA Duration- 12+ Months A SmartStream TLM (Transaction Lifecycle Management) Developer is responsible for designing, configuring, and automating financial reconciliation processes. This role bridges the gap between technology and operations, focusing on building rules, managing workflows, and resolving transaction exceptions to ensure system reliability for banking and financial services. Key Responsibilities • Platform Development: Design and configure solutions using the SmartStream TLM Application Suite (TLM Control, SmartStudio, Recon Admin, and TLM View). • Automation & Rules: Build and maintain automated reconciliation rules, data mappings, workflows, and exception management processes. • Testing & Quality Assurance: Execute unit testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality software delivery. • Support & Maintenance: Troubleshoot production environments, monitor data controls, and perform platform upgrades and bug fixing. • Documentation: Create and maintain technical and functional design documents for project tracking and governance. Essential Skills & Qualifications • Core Tools: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience with SmartStream TLM (Premium V3+, SmartStudio, TLM Control). • Database & Querying: Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase). • Scripting & OS: Working knowledge of scripting languages (like Python or Java) and operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux). • Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial markets, banking operations, and end-to-end reconciliation lifecycles. Ideal soft skills • Ability to collaborate directly with business users, project teams, and global stakeholders. • Strong analytical problem-solving skills for dissecting data discrepancies and operational issues.
