Snowflake Data Engineer

Contract - Snowflake Data Engineer – Austin, TX (Hybrid) 2–3 days onsite in Austin, Texas InterEx are partnered with a major energy & utilities business in Texas who are scaling their Data function and looking for a strong Snowflake Data Engineer to support a high-impact transformation. This is an opportunity to work at the core of a modern data environment, owning end-to-end Snowflake delivery from ingest & modeling through to semantic layer builds that support business-critical analytics. What you’ll be doing: • End-to-end data engineering delivery fully in Snowflake • Build scalable data pipelines, ingestion & transformation flows • Data modeling & semantic layer transformations for reporting/analytics • Work closely with internal teams to define data requirements and deliver clean, optimised models Tech Stack: • Snowflake (must-have) • SQL • Data Modeling / Dimensional Modeling • Strong transformation experience (ETL/ELT) Bonus: utilities/energy experience is a plus but not required What they're looking for: • Proven experience owning Snowflake-based data pipelines • Strong SQL + data modeling fundamentals • Someone who can work collaboratively onsite in Austin (2–3 days/week) If you’re a top-tier Snowflake Engineer looking for a new challenge and want to join a forward-thinking team building a modern data platform let’s chat.
